Blair C. Relf, Ph.D. is the President of Motivational IQ™, a talent development company focused on helping leaders, salespeople and professionals develop a better understanding of themselves and others, so they can perform at their very best. Dr. Relf has spent the greater part of his life focused on the psychology and development of leadership, motivation and achievement.

He has developed his capabilities and points of view through a diverse set of leadership challenges, educational degrees and consulting experiences. His background, of over twenty years in business, includes positions as Director of Learning and Outcomes Research, Director of Organizational Development and Learning, Executive Coach, President, Leadership Development Consultant, Salesman and Sales Manager. He is an innovative designer of dynamic programs, an insightful executive coach and a trusted advisor to his clients.

Dr. Relf coaches leaders and salespeople, delivers talks and conducts programs in leadership development and motivational intelligence in the U.S., Asia and Europe. He has coached several hundred leaders and consultants over the last ten years in a variety of industries. He has worked with such premiere organizations as Accenture, Hewlett Packard, PIMCO, Kielty, Goldsmith and Co., NCR Corporation, the City of San Diego, and a top five global, strategic management consultancy, amongst others.

Dr. Relf holds a dual Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Clinical Psychology from the Marshall Goldsmith School of Business and the California School of Professional Psychology. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of California with minors in Philosophy and World History. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Development, and over the course of his career, has conducted research in adult learning methodologies, leadership coaching outcomes, creativity in organizations, retaining top talent and generating high levels of committed motivation and performance.

Dr. Relf has lived and worked overseas for almost six years. He has spent time in 60 countries on five continents with more extensive experience in Southeast Asia, Japan and Western Europe. He is an avid student of international relations. Dr. Relf is also a long distance runner and ironman triathlete and enjoys skiing, surfing and basketball. He is happily married, the proud father of two boys and lives in Southern California.
